Spotify Canvas maker — seamless looping visuals from your track

Part of Glowtrack Studio, free creator tools from Roobixx Interactive.

Make a Spotify Canvas in minutes: drop in your song and cover art, pick a look, and export a 3–8 second vertical loop that's sized for Spotify and blends seamlessly from end to start. It's free, and rendered on your own computer, so your music never leaves your device.

How it works

  1. Add your track and cover artThe visuals react to the music, and your cover art becomes the background automatically — blurred, glowing and gently moving.
  2. Choose a lookPulse, liquid rings, neon, lofi haze, starfield and more. The preview shows Spotify's player area so nothing important gets covered.
  3. Export the loopPick 3–8 seconds (the best part of your song is chosen for you) and a seamless, hard-cut or rebound loop. You get an MP4 ready to upload in Spotify for Artists.

Built for Spotify's Canvas requirements

The right specsVertical 9:16, 3–8 seconds, MP4 with no audio track. Choose 1080×1920, 720×1280, or 608×1080 to match Spotify's "720–1080 px tall" wording exactly.
Seamless loopsThe end of the clip is blended into its start, so the Canvas loops with no visible jump. Or choose a hard cut or a forward-and-back rebound.
Best part, automaticallyThe most energetic section of your track — usually the drop or chorus — drives the motion.
Player-safe previewA guide shows where Spotify's song info and controls sit, and the edges that some phones crop.
Guideline-friendlyNo watermark by default, and a gentle warning if you turn on text or flashing effects, which Spotify recommends avoiding.
Private and freeNo uploads, no account. Your song and artwork stay on your computer.

FAQ

What are Spotify's Canvas requirements?

Spotify asks for a vertical 9:16 video, 3 to 8 seconds long, between 720 and 1080 px tall, as an MP4 (or a JPG). Exports from this tool are always under 8 seconds and contain no audio track, which avoids common upload errors.

Which size should I choose?

1080×1920 is the most common choice and looks sharpest. If Spotify for Artists rejects it, try 608×1080, which matches the "720–1080 px tall" wording in Spotify's help pages exactly, or 720×1280 for a smaller file.

How do I upload a Canvas?

In Spotify for Artists, open the song, choose Canvas and upload the MP4. Spotify notes that uploads sometimes work better from the Spotify for Artists mobile app.

What makes the loop seamless?

The tool renders a little past the end of your clip and fades those frames over the beginning, so the last frame flows straight into the first.

Should I put my song title or artist name on it?

Spotify suggests leaving them off, because they already appear in the player. Avoid fast cuts and intense flashing too.

Is it free?

Yes. The site is free to use and is funded by the advertising shown on the page.
