Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
Glowtrack Studio (glowtrackstudio.com) is run by Roobixx Interactive ("we", "us"), an independent studio based in Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains what information is — and isn’t — collected when you use the site, and the choices you have.
The short version
- Your audio, video, images and designs are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us.
- There are no accounts, so we don’t collect your name, email or password unless you email us.
- We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, and Google AdSense to show ads that keep the site free. Both use cookies.
- We don’t sell your personal information.
Your files stay on your device
Every tool on Glowtrack Studio — the visualizers, converters, editors and makers — runs inside your web browser. The files you open and the files you create are read, processed and saved on your own computer or phone. They are not sent to our servers or to anyone else, and we cannot see them.
The software the tools need (for example audio and video encoders, the HEIC photo decoder and fonts) is downloaded from our own website, not from third-party servers.
Information stored in your browser
- Settings. Your tool settings — such as chosen styles, colours and formats — are saved in your browser’s local storage so they’re still there next time.
- Passing work between tools. When you send something from one tool to another (for example a cover from the album cover maker to the animated cover art maker, or a track to the music visualizer), it is held briefly in your browser’s storage and removed once the next tool has opened it.
This information stays on your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: how many people visit, which pages and tools they use, roughly where they are (country and city level), what browser and device they use, and how the tools perform — for example which style was chosen, which export format was used, how long a conversion took, and whether it finished or failed. This helps us fix problems and decide what to build. It never includes the content of your files.
Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies. Data is kept for no longer than 14 months. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising
The site shows advertising through Google AdSense to keep it free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s My Ad Center, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Consent in Europe and the UK
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you’ll be asked for your consent before cookies are used for personalised advertising and measurement, through a consent message provided by Google. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy link in that message.
Hosting, security and email
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information about each request — such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request — to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and keep it running. If you email us, Cloudflare forwards your message to our inbox; we use your email address and message only to reply, and keep them only as long as needed for that.
Tips through Ko-fi
If you choose to tip us through the “Buy us a coffee” or “Support us” links, you leave our site for Ko-fi, and your payment is handled by Ko-fi and its payment providers (such as PayPal or Stripe) under their own privacy policies. We never see your card or bank details. Ko-fi shares with us the details it normally shows creators — such as the name you give, the amount and any message you add — which we use only to see and thank our supporters.
Who we share information with
Only the service providers above: Google (Analytics and AdSense) and Cloudflare (hosting, security and email forwarding). These providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. We don’t sell personal information and don’t share it with anyone else, except if required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the Australian Privacy Principles, the EU and UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws — you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Because we don’t run accounts, we usually hold no personal information beyond any emails you send us. Analytics and advertising data is held by Google and can be managed through the links above. To make a request, email us. If you’re unhappy with our response, you can contact your local privacy regulator (in Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner).
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
