FAQ
Are my files uploaded?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser, on your own computer or phone. Your files are never sent anywhere, so it’s safe for unreleased music and private recordings.
Can I convert FLAC to MP3, or WAV to MP3?
Yes. Drop in the FLAC or WAV file, choose MP3 and a quality, then press Convert. 320 kbps keeps the most detail.
Does converting MP3 to WAV improve the quality?
No. Converting a compressed file to WAV makes it larger but can’t restore detail that was removed. It’s still useful when software or a distributor needs a WAV file.
What does “Match streaming (−14 LUFS)” do?
It measures the loudness of the whole file and turns it up or down to about −14 LUFS, the level Spotify and YouTube play music at. It never pushes peaks above −1 dB, so quiet files may land slightly below the target rather than distort.
Can I cut or trim the audio?
Yes. Drag the edges of the highlighted region on the waveform, or type exact start and end times, and press Preview to listen. Only the selection is converted.
Is there a file size limit?
No fixed limit — long files simply take longer. Very large files (several hours) can use a lot of memory on phones.
Which browser works best?
Chrome and Edge on a computer are the fastest and handle the most formats. Firefox and Safari work for most files; if a file won’t open, try Chrome.
Is it free?
Yes — free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no file limits beyond your device’s memory. It’s supported by the ads on the page.
